Tour Program

Cizre city tour and visit to the Sefine region of Mount Cudi.

Participation Conditions:

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in one of the following languages: Turkish, Arabic, English, or Kurdish. Abstracts in Turkish should include an English summary, abstracts in Arabic should include a Turkish summary and abstracts in Kurdish should include either a Turkish or English summary.
  2. Presentations must be scientific and original.
  3. Presentations must not have been submitted to another symposium.
  4. Presentation time in the sessions will be limited to 15 minutes. This should be taken into consideration when preparing the presentation.

Important Instructions

1.      The symposium will take place in person.

2.      The papers are internationally qualified and can be used for applications for associate professorship and professorship.

3.      The symposium presentations will be published as an Editorial Book and Abstract Booklet.

TEXT SUBMISSION

Abstract and Summary Writing Guidelines

1.      Please fill out the Abstract Form completely (Applications with incomplete information will not be accepted).

2.      The abstract and summary texts should be between 250 and 500 words. The abstract should include the purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.

3.      After the abstract, include at least three and no more than five keywords. Keywords should also be written in the Abstract.

Full Text Submission:

1.      The symposium presentations will be published in an Editorial Book, Symposium Paper Book, and Abstract Booklet according to the quality of the presentations.

2.      Abstracts and full texts must include complete citation information, including title, first name, last name, institution, department, email, and ORCID number.

3.      Abstracts in languages other than English must be submitted with an English translation.

4.      Information regarding whether the papers have been previously published elsewhere must be provided.

Plagiarism Report

A report generated by plagiarism detection programs provided by universities, such as Turnitin, Ithencitace, and Intihal.net, must be submitted with the paper.

Full-Text Writing Rules

1.      The ISNAD CITATION system (2nd edition) will be preferred in the papers. https://www.isnadsistemi.org/guide/isnad2/

2.      Title: The title must be written in both the language of the paper and in English. The title should be in uppercase letters and 14-point font.

3.      The full-text paper should include an abstract; however, for works that will be included as book chapters, the abstract will not be required. Further details will be provided later. Abstracts should be formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with single line spacing.

 

Page Layout:

Size: A4, Times New Roman, 12-point font.

Margins: 2.5 cm on the right, left, top, and bottom.

Line Spacing: 1.25, with 6 nk space between paragraphs.

Page Number: The page number should be placed at the bottom-left of each page.

Main Headings: Should be written in all uppercase, left-aligned, and bold. Numbering will not be applied to the INTRODUCTION and CONCLUSION.

Subheadings: Should be written in bold, left-aligned, with the first letter of each word capitalized.

Figures, Tables, Maps, and Photos: Figures, tables, maps, and photos should not exceed the writing area; if necessary, each should be placed on a separate page. Figures and tables should be numbered and labeled either in Turkish or English based on the content. The numbers and titles should be written in 10-point font, with only the first letter of each word capitalized, placed below the figure, table, map, or photo. Content within tables and figures should use Times New Roman, 10-point font.
